Given the characteristics of the photovoltaic systems, in which the energy accumulating capacity is limited, the lighting equipments must be high performance and low consumption in order to make the most of that energy. The most suitable are the electronic lamps that deliver the same light performance as conventional light bulbs but save approximately 80% of energy and last 8 times more. This is due to the fact that 95% of the energy that incandescent lamps consume is transformed into heat and not light, while the electronic ones irradiate much less heat and transform 30% of the energy they produce in light. Conventional fluorescent lamps can also be used, but always with electronic reactance.
